for not getting this out sooner). If you are local in the Dallas/Fort
Worth area, then stop on by for up to date astrological info, a
complimentary reading, astrology learning and more. Here is the Meetup link. A very special thanks to James at Crystal Source for his support over the last 4+ years.
The dates are:
- Saturday January 12th, 3pm to 6pm
- Saturday February 9th, 3pm to 6pm
- Saturday March 9th, 3pm to 6pm
Third, here are more than a handful of select important birthdays and
celestial events for January 2019. New and Full Moons are listed. Times
are not critical and are listed only for your reference (subtract 5
hours for EST, 6 for CST, etc.) Hot Spots are the Important Birthdays.
Keep in mind that even if your birthday is not listed, either on the
day of the event itself or before or after the “hot spots” listed
underneath, then that astrological event could still be significant for
your birthday. You do not need to know the year of birth in order to use
the information below.
The cardinal signs, Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn (especially Capricorn) are highlighted in this newsletter.
Important Birthdays and Celestial Events for January 2019
January 1st, 2019, 2:21am–Mars ingress into Aries (Mars’ home sign)
Many of us will feel the urge to do something along the lines of a new
years resolution(s), but not quite in the popular way that it has been
portrayed for many years. Mars just wants to accomplish it’s goals and
it’s mission and Aries provides the format for doing that in a singular
way and in it’s own time. See where the sign of Aries is in your chart
and apply the meaning of that house to this very unique, direct and
powerful energy. You may not have the support of others on your goals
for the new year but who needs them anyway?? (Jan 1st through Feb 15th).
January 2nd, 2019, 5:51am—Sun conjunct Saturn at 11 Capricorn 31
The birthdays below are now feeling the full contact of the symbolism of
the planet Saturn and this is why Saturn tend’s to get a bad rap. As
one astrology teacher has said many times, “Saturn has a tendency to
take away our toys,” and transiting Saturn’s conjunction, opposition and
square to the Sun of the natal chart are what astrologers are primarily
referring to when discussing the transits of Saturn (as well as the
Moon, ascendent and midheaven). But the feeling of this transit is like
being “squashed.” The reality is that Saturn is squeezing the most
important essence out of you so that you can bring your very best to
what life is presenting you with at this time. No time for games, false
relationships and frivolous nonsense. All of that tends to go away
during these transits. When the dust settles, you will see what is left
and where you have been and the truth of the overall situation that you
have been involved in. That is the goal of Saturn, getting to the truth
and what is most important. Who have you decided to be and are you doing
it?

January 6th, 2019, 1:43am—Partial Solar Eclipse at 15 Capricorn 25
New Moon—Month of the Wood Ox
If your birthday is on the day of a solar eclipse, then this will be an
important year for you (conjunction) and especially around the time of
the eclipse. For the opposition, it can be equally as significant for
around a month or less and for the square it is likely an important time
as well, depending on the overall circumstances of the person in
question. Squares can be less eventful, but if your birthday is close
and in the hot spot, pay attention anyway and watch your surroundings
around this time at least for the two weeks leading up to and after the
eclipse. This goes for all of the birthdays listed. Eclipses tend to
give us a sense of mystery and the unknown and the revelation of such
things. What was hidden tends to be revealed. They can also make us
highly sensitive and accident prone, so avoid unnecessary risky
activities if you know that a sensitive point in your chart is being
aspected by the eclipse.

January 6th, 2019, 8:28pm—Uranus station Direct at 28 Aries 36
Uranus is stopping in the sky and this is one of the times in the year
where people tend to get a sense that things are getting back to normal
or have at least reached a resting place where a “new normal” can be
dealt with and absorbed accordingly. But Uranus is still very powerful
at the station (stopped in the sky) and this is where you have to ask
yourself if the urges to change should be acted on or not, because they
are certainly there and must be addressed or rather lived out. I don’t
know if there is any kind of bargaining with this planet. What I do know
is that if Uranus is in any of the transiting configurations listed
below with your Sun (conjunction, opposition and square) then you do
have a lot on your plate and are most likely active to a degree relative
to where you are in your life stage, dealing with the changes that are
taking place. Learning how to be in the moment is critical at this time.
“Live in the Now.”

January 7th, 2019, 4:11am—Sun parallel Saturn at 22 South 25
The Sun will form a parallel aspect to Saturn (same degree above or below the celestial equator) twice a year as the Sun has a regular motion from that perspective as well. This is the one that we see that is most evident as the Sun culminates higher or lower in the sky in a regular cycle throughout the year, higher in the summer and lower in the winter thus bringing us shorter days. The idea for today is similar to the conjunction of the Sun to Saturn, bringing us to a sense of serious contemplation and a search for what really matters. So it may not be too great of an idea to do something today that could wait for another day. Give whatever it is that you must do today some further thought as you may not have captured the entire significance of what it is that you want to accomplish.
January 11th, 2019, 11:39am—Sun conjunct Pluto at 20 Capricorn 56
When Pluto aspects the Sun in a person’s chart, certain extreme urges
and compulsions come out of the person and there are transformational
changes that happen over several years as Pluto takes it’s time moving
over the Sun and likely aspecting other various planets and points in
our chart simultaneously. So, if the Sun is conjoining Pluto on your
birthday, then Pluto has already been transiting over your Sun and this
year in particular will be even more powerful and meaningful for the
process. The closer it is the more significant the year is likely to be.
All of the birthdays listed below, especially earlier birthdays, will
have more of a sense of the power of what this transit is all about and
how it applies to them personally. Think of the caterpillar as it
changes into a butterfly or how the phoenix rises from it’s own ashes to
be born again. Pluto has a way of driving us to live out something more
than what we can imagine possible.

January 13th, 2019, 6:59pm—Jupiter at 14 Sagittarius 22 square Neptune at 14 Pisces 22
What is happening here with Jupiter and Neptune is the start of a dream and a vision that can hardly be described and is difficult to put into words, although one might describe it as a “quest.” This quest can take many forms and shapes but it has to have a few critical components to it, namely it has to be big and simultaneously idealistic without any or very minimal work at all required to pull it off. So if you are already engaged in a similar process, then you might as well let it work it’s magic and see itself through. This aspect will add the sense of a sprinkle of pixie dust and a twinkle to your eye wherever you find your most inspired attention is directed. And, as both Jupiter and Neptune are in their “home signs” you will have that extra punch to help this questing process along, so why not take advantage of the extra inspiration that you are now feeling and act on it?

January 21st, 2019, 5:13am—Total Lunar Eclipse at 0 Leo 52
Total Lunar eclipses are an emotional force to be reckoned with for sure
and really any full moon configuration for that matter. But eclipses
are special and so they must have an additional meaning somewhere, so
what we are looking at here is a kind of emotional crisis that is
brewing and is likely to be released around the time of the eclipse. If
your birthday is Jan 21st or around very closely to that date then you
will have this lunar eclipse in your solar return chart and the year
will be significant for you in some way and of course emotions are the
key to figuring out the meaning. But again, as with solar eclipses,
there is a hidden “something” lurking somewhere and all of that is
relative to your situation and what your chart is saying about you at
this time. Apply similar advice for the solar eclipse birthdays listed
above and watch around the time of the lunar eclipse for clues but also
include the time around the solar eclipse as they are linked in the
lunar cycle, the lunar eclipse being the full moon culmination of what
was started at the new moon. Advice: experience the emotions instead of
letting them experience you, leading you off center. Stay grounded and
in the presence that this too will pass.

***********************************************
And last but not least, as some of you may know, I have made a number of appearances as guest astrologer on Star’s Heart of the Matter
radio show on Wolf Spirit Radio since last September, with Star,
co-host Stef and Bill (producer) and have mentioned this in the last few
emails. And as some of you may be aware, WSR has closed it’s doors
permanently.
The very good and exciting news is that Star’s Heart of the Matter show will continue on People for People Radio
and will be Live every Friday starting this January 4th, 2019. Show
time is from 5pm to 7pm EST (2pm to 4pm PST). Also, be sure to check the
schedule on the People for People site linked above. I should be
keeping the regular format of astrological updates every other week,
just before the new and full moons.
There’s more exciting SignsInLife news on the way so be sure to stay
subscribed and in the know and pass this email along to your friends and
family (and especially if you notice any important birthdays!!). Thanks
again everyone.
Many Blessings to all and have a wonderful, happy, safe and productive New Year!
