Happy April everyone!
First, I have selected 12 important celestial events to review for April, which is the most amount that I have attempted to cram into one newsletter so far. Let me know what you think about this, what is useful, what more that you would like to see, etc.
Next, many thanks to all new subscribers and especially to those who have had their complimentary Vibrational Astrology session. I’ve met with clients from all over the globe over the last couple of months: New Zealand, Africa, Singapore, Canada, U.S. and many more places. You have taught me so much and the feedback has been excellent, so I am encouraged and happy to continue these into the future.
Complimentary (free) 30 to 45 min Vibrational Astrology sessions take place over the phone, Skype or Zoom. Zoom sessions are working out extraordinarily well as I can share my screen as I go through the process with the Sirius 3.0 software and there’s no login required with Zoom, just click on the link to join the session. Please have an accurate time of birth from a birth certificate or other official record if possible prior to the session. As I learn and apply this new astrological language, you will receive the benefit of self knowledge at the cutting edge of astrology research today.
Also, I’ve got one scheduled in-person event at Crystal Source for this month and one for next month, on Saturday May 11th. Come to the Meetup for up to date astrological info, a complimentary reading, astrology learning and more. Here is the Meetup link. A very special thanks to James at Crystal Source for his support over the last 4+ years.
This month’s Meetup is:
- Saturday, April 13th, 3pm to 6pm at Crystal Source (see the Meetup link above).
- Saturday, May 11th, 3pm to 6pm at Crystal Source
One more item before we get into the astrology of April; I’m writing to you from the 1st Annual Vibrational Astrology Conference happening in Gainsville, FL starting today, April 5th, 6th and 7th, 2019. There will be exciting, never before revealed, cutting edge astrological knowledge shared at this conference, so if you are in the area and have the time to attend then I highly recommend that you do! The conference starts tomorrow with an official introduction to Vibrational Astrology tonight by David Cochrane. There are already more than 100 attendees enrolled for the conference and the hotel is fully booked, (there is more hotel availability nearby) so I am excited to meet many new and current friends who are interested in and passionate about Vibrational Astrology!
Below are more than a handful of important birthdays and celestial events for April 2019. New and Full Moons and more are listed. Times are important but not critical for the birthdays and are listed only for your reference (subtract 5 hours for EST, 6 for CST, 4 hours for EDT, 5 for CDT, etc.) Keep reading for a more in depth explanation of how all of this birthday stuff works!
The Important Birthdays are listed under each astrological event below. Why? Because each astrological event will make simple and powerful transiting aspects to the natal Sun’s position for those Important Birthdays listed, which means that the event, New and Full Moons, retrograde planets and other aspects involving the Sun, etc., will have some impact for people with the Important Birthdays. The birthdays listed are not exact but are a close approximation, spanning roughly 1 degree of orb, with the second birthday listed of the three as roughly the most affected (check your chart to be absolutely sure!).
You can flip through an ephemeris or generate one online or with your astrology software and look at the degree of the Sun for any given date in the year–the positions for midnight (or noon) GMT are close but not exact and vary a bit from year to year. They are, however, close enough for our purposes here. Also, GMT is the time zone that is literally in the middle of the day, in the middle of the globe, so that must be taken into account as I am writing to a global audience. The Sun’s position at 7am in New Zealand is different than the Sun’s position in Hawaii at 7am on the same calendar date, so GMT times are a compromise or an average so to speak, as I am deriving the rough position of the Sun from a midnight ephemeris to correspond the degree of the event with the degrees of the Sun that I am looking for to find the most affected birthdays for any given celestial event.
The three major aspects listed are: Conjunction (0 degrees separation), Square (90 degrees separation) and Opposition (180 degrees separation). These are the aspects that demand the most attention and truly show the effects of the selected astrological events. Conjunctions and Oppositions are very powerful followed only by Squares. Trines (120 degrees) and Sextiles (60 degrees) are powerful too especially when three or more planets are involved. These are more smooth flowing and easier to deal with in general but we tend to just ride along with the ease that these aspects offer us many times. All of the aspects are powerful in their own way, even the so called minor aspects, however, the Conjunction, Square and Opposition show the most obvious physical effects overall.
Example: Jill’s birthday is on April 5th, very close to 15 degrees of Aries. There is a New Moon on April 5th, 2019 at 15 degrees and 17 minutes (15.3 degrees Aries, approximately). A New Moon is when the much faster Moon conjoins the Sun, in other words, the Sun and Moon have the same zodiacal longitude for a brief period of time and occupy the same “space.” Since this is Jill’s birthday and there is a New Moon on her birthday, this is likely to be a significant year for her. Not all of the events listed have this profound of an effect but they all have some effect, nonetheless. Some of the events involving the more outer planets like Saturn, Uranus, Pluto, Neptune and Chiron have a much longer lasting influence for many months at times, so the events involving those planets are a kind of turning point or touchstone, especially if the Sun is involved and even more so if the event is on your birthday.
Another example: John’s birthday is on January 13th, very near to 23 degrees of Capricorn. See event 5) on April 13th, 2019 and event 10) on April 24th, 2019. Imagine how the transiting Sun in Aries squares John’s natal Sun in Capricorn AND the transiting sun squares transiting Pluto which is conjoining John’s natal Sun (degree of the Sun on his birthday). About 11 days later, Pluto then stations retrograde over John’s natal Sun. What happens? John is having a Pluto time, where he is compulsive and obsessive about something, digging deep and bringing the deep unconscious past into the present moment. Something important and profound will happen.
What happens exactly is a symptom of the fundamental energy process of this powerful square from the Sun to a transiting Pluto that is then turning retrograde 11 days later on John’s natal Sun. When transiting outer planets station retrograde on a natal personal point or planet like the Sun (conjunction), they make powerful statements about the meaning of the energy process to the person having the transit. So, January 13th is an important birthday for this month for sure. We might say that the time leading up to event 5) with a transiting Sun square Pluto is a foreshadowing of a much more powerful Pluto station retrograde on April 24th. This is true for all of us, but it is especially meaningful for the birthdays listed in that group.
Keep in mind that even if your birthday is not listed, either on the day of the event itself or before or after the Important Birthdays listed underneath, then that event could still be significant for your birthday for other astrological reasons. You do not need to know the year of birth in order to use the information below. In fact, you don’t need to worry about the birthdays at all if you don’t want to, as these events all have an impact somewhere in the astrological makeup in each and every one of us. (Think of the astrological houses that they fall in.)
Also, it is wise to know the degrees of the planets in your chart and the charts of loved ones as this information can be applied directly to the astrological degrees listed below. If you do not have your natal astrology chart, contact me and I will email to you your complimentary personal natal astrology chart in pdf format.
Important Birthdays and Celestial Events for April 2019
1) New Moon @ 15 Aries 17 on April 5th, 2019 at 8:52am GMT, 4:52am Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)
The Aries New Moon is a gives us the impression to try something different or start something new–and it must be all your own. Remember that Aries wants to go it’s own way. Venus is in a 7th harmonic midpoint pattern with Saturn, Uranus and Pluto and this energy drives deep getting us to a point where we are rebellious and compulsive about what we’re going after and what we want, really what we value. But it’s inner–and Aries is a very “inner” oriented sign with the New Moon there so there is a match of sorts. Ultimately, we’re looking for a sweet kind of high beauty with the New Moon, Venus and Neptune in the 8th harmonic making hard aspects. Venus, Jupiter and Saturn make another impact with the 7 vibe in the 8th harmonic chart spurring us on to plan something out around what we want and what it needs to look like. Starting a clothing business or creating art to sell? Those are just examples. The overall impulse here is to dig deep and draw out the inspiration to take yourself somewhere higher.

2) Sun @ 20 Aries 12 Square Saturn @ 20 Capricorn 12 on April 10th, 2019 at 8:48am GMT, 4:48am EDT
The Sun square Saturn is asking you what you want to be, where you want to go and the obstacles that stand in your way to achieving said results. What have you decided to be? Who are you? This is a tough, “in your face” question but it’s a real question. It cuts to the bone and sometimes we feel like we’re being crushed or smashed down. If April 10th is your birthday then this will be one of the major themes of the year for sure. But it will pass and it’s there for a reason so just keep that in mind. Take stock of what you have done up until this point. If you do the work now, then you are sure to receive more than the sum of what you think that you have put in. Ultimately, you are working on yourself!

3) Jupiter @ 24 Sagittarius 21 Station Retrograde on April 10th, 2019 at 5:02pm GMT, 1:02pm EDT
The great benefic, Jupiter, is turning around in the sky. So we’re literally revisiting an expansion in a sense. The expansion of what you say? Well, here we’re referring more specifically to Jupiter and the birthdays below but overall it’s about the outlook of what’s possible and the benefits that come along when an adventure is taken. The Sun is the conscious ever present self, the self that you know, even the spirit. Now let’s expand and broaden that in an optimistic, happy and forward looking way. Maybe there’s something happy about you that you’ve forgotten about and left in the past and now you’re on a quest to retrieve it. Maybe you had plans to take a trip last year and then cancelled last minute and now the opportunity has returned for another look. With Jupiter, you never know and sometimes you can be surprised. Read number 4 below…

4) Mercury @ 24 Pisces 21 Square Jupiter @ 24 Sagittarius 21 on April 12th, 2019 at 4:19am GMT, 12:19am EDT
Less than 48 hours after Jupiter stations retrograde, Mercury squares the great benefic. Now Mercury is the communicator and the one that connects the dots. The psychopomp. So we’re thinking about expanding and how to do it. And it’s more spiritual oriented and inner oriented at the same time as Pisces wants to mix everything up and see where it all comes out. Logic kind of goes out the window once more as Mercury retraces it’s steps through the retrograde shadow, squaring the retrograde ruler (Jupiter) of the sign that it is traveling (Pisces). Sometimes we do silly things for a greater purpose. Maybe that wild goose chase wasn’t a wild goose chase after all. How do we get bigger in a spiritual sense without some of these challenges, albeit different challenges here with a square between Mercury and Jupiter? Not all challenges are bad or difficult.

5) Sun @ 23 Aries 07 Square Pluto @ 23 Capricorn 07 on April 13th, 2019 at 8:08am GMT, 4:08am EDT
This one is all about being a more compulsive and obsessive person, dragging it all out to the surface for all the world to see. But it will pass and you are going through a transition point, although it is a more permanent one for the most part. And we’re digging deep and getting into the power in a sense that is very profound and is very impactful and we don’t know where it is or where it is coming from. It’s just deep and we must deal with it in whatever way it needs to be dealt with. This is the challenge–managing this volcano of power, information, emotion, drive and purpose while still maintaining ourselves, surviving and making a living. Sometimes it all falls away and sometimes it all stays together and we just think we lost it all. But whatever the case is, the feeling is there and how we respond to that energy and that purpose is what is important.

6) Full Moon @ 29 Libra 07 on April 19th, 2019 at 11:13am GMT, 7:13am EDT
The Full Moon is in the last degree of Libra, a sign of balance, fairness, equality and partnership. Libra wants the emotional connection here with the Moon, or rather vice versa. Mercury at the midpoint of Mars and Pluto wants to get to the real point of what matters in the communication process. The goal here is to accomplish something deep with what must be shared. There might have been a hurt that cut so deep it must be dealt with and made right (Sun/Moon/Chiron in the 7th harmonic in the 8th harmonic chart). Pluto at the Mercury and Venus midpoint in the 8th harmonic is getting to the loving communication that is powerful and that must be done–many times Venus is directly speaking to relationships. Do you see how this idea might match with the Full Moon, emotional and powerful in the last degree of the sign of partnerships? We’re kind of at the end of the rope here guys and gals! But all is not lost, there is still time and the pressure will be there around the Full Moon to help you out if you need it, so get ready to take advantage of that moment when it arrives if you need it.

7) Mars @ 13 Gemini 48 Opposite Ceres Retrograde @ 13 Sagittarius 48 on April 21st, 2019 at 5:15am GMT, 1:15am EDT
This is a business and negotiating oriented aspect primarily. What do you want to do with your stuff–or rather what are your goals with your inventory and who do you have to deal with in order to see it sold so that you can turn a profit? Or will you sell it, trade it or give it away? Think of the show Pawn Stars. Think of flea markets and garage sales. Or think of big sales and business deals. This aspect really also depends on what is going on in your natal chart and your current transits/progressions/directions. Dealing one on one with others is the goal here, keep in mind that there is action here with the oppositions and squares and T-squares with the combinations below. So stay cool. With a Mars in Gemini, you’ll be wheeling and dealing, just make sure that you know what your price is and where your financial limits are before proceeding but at the same time be flexible as there is an art to the process of negotiation, especially when working with the mutable signs (Gem, Vir, Sag & Pis)!
Mars Opposite Ceres Important Birthday’s:
Gemini Sun Conjunct Mars and Opposite Ceres
June 3, 4, 5
Virgo Sun Square Mars and Square Ceres
September 5, 6, 7
Sagittarius Sun Conjunct Ceres and Opposite Mars
December 4, 5, 6
Pisces Sun Square Ceres and Square Mars
March 3, 4, 5
8) Sun @ 2 Taurus 32 Conjunct Uranus @ 2 Taurus 32 @ on April 22nd, 2019 at 11:08pm GMT, 7:04pm EDT
The planet of the instant now and of living on the wave of now is conjunct the Sun in Taurus! Can you watch the cells in a plant divide as the plant grows–the chemical reactions within the cell that cause the individual cells to change as a natural process? This is a different kind of thinking that what most of us are used to. Many astrologers think that this is a tough combo to deal with and that the energy doesn’t match, but it might match if we allow ourselves to feel what this is all about. So all things Taurus are getting a change and the change is supposed to be unwelcome. But change is good many times, if it’s the kind of change that we want and like. Sometimes the changes are unpleasant and sometimes we just need to give ourselves some breathing room and adjust to the new realities. So if you are a Taurus and your birthday is not on this list, know that it will be in the future as Uranus takes it’s approximate 7 years through the sign. For April 22nd Taurus people, you will be having Uranus very near the Sun on your birthday and will be living more in the Uranus energy for your personal birthday year. Let’s ask them how this energy was felt one year from now to get a clue as to what they experienced and how they navigated through. “Live in the Now!”
Sun Conjunct Uranus Important Birthday’s:
Taurus Sun Conjunct Uranus
April 21, 22, 23
Leo Sun Square Sun and Square Uranus
July 24, 25, 26
Scorpio Sun Opposite Sun and Opposite Uranus
October 25, 26, 27
Aquarius Sun Square Sun and Square Uranus
January 22, 23, 24
9) Venus @ 3 Aries 40 Conjunct Chiron @ 3 Aries 40 on April 23rd, 2019 at 4:56pm GMT, 12:56pm EDT
This is a very sweet and romantic time and sometimes there is pain associated with what we love and how we appreciate the affection that we receive. Take advantage of making a connection that will last around this time, especially for Aries. For the other signs listed, be a little more cautious with new people in your life as you may want to do these things, be romantic, etc., as transiting Chiron is square and opposite to your Sun. Now other factors in your chart may allow for more wiggle room, but search your feelings and tune into what is right and be as objective as you can. Sometimes the wrong person can give us the right feelings and if you heart is there, then your heart is there and there’s no arguing with that.
Venus Conjunct Chiron Important Birthday’s:
Aries Sun Conjunct Venus and Conjunct Chiron
March 23, 24, 25
Cancer Sun Square Venus and Square Chiron
June 24, 25, 26
Libra Sun Opposite Venus and Opposite Chiron
September 25, 26, 27
Capricorn Sun Square Venus and Square Chiron
December 24, 25, 26
10) Pluto @ 23 Capricorn 09 Station Retrograde on April 24th, 2019 at 6:49pm GMT, 2:49pm EDT
Pluto stations retrograde at 23 degrees of Capricorn and this is really more of a powerful reaffirmation of what I wrote above under number 5 and in the example above that in the explanation with “John” under Another Example. The same birthdays listed there are here as well as Pluto moves incredibly slow, especially leading up to and following the retrograde period. An event may come about around this time giving you a sense of how you should proceed with your feelings and pointing you in a direction to the past, to where to look and who to work with and who to talk to. Outer planets tend to pack an extra punch as they station retrograde and this is not a fear thing but rather an awareness thing. Preparation goes a long way at times and although Pluto is a rather uncompromising force, it can help to have a “heads up” here and there!
Pluto Station Retrograde Important Birthday’s:
Capricorn Sun Conjunct Pluto Retrograde
January 13, 14, 15
Aries Sun Square Pluto Retrograde
April 12, 13, 14
Cancer Sun Opposite Pluto Retrograde
July 15, 16, 17
Libra Sun Square Pluto Retrograde
October 16, 17, 18
11) Mars @ 17 Gemini 56 Square Neptune @ 17 Pisces 56 on April 27th at 1:05pm GMT, 9:05am EDT
Sometimes people think that Mars square Neptune means frustration and confusion, but the reality is that Mars just wants to accomplish something transcendent and idealistic and is feeling blocked. One way around this is to literally “tune” in to Neptune and what is represents to you in your unique situation, getting more into the vibe thus making it easier for Mars to identify the best way to approach the goal. Now you might be saying, “I don’t even know what I’m frustrated about!” The answer here is to go to the water, ocean, lake, etc. Start there and see where it goes. The energy has to go somewhere and many times this could manifest as intense prayer, reading religious works, doing some volunteering, going on a spiritual quest, etc. Now it may not pan out the way that you think that it will but at least you attempted it. The best advice that I can give here is to just try to be as well defined in your objective as you possibly can.
Mars Square Neptune Important Birthday’s:
Gemini Sun Conjunct Mars and Square Neptune
June 7, 8, 9
Virgo Sun Square Mars and Opposite Neptune
September 9, 10, 11
Sagittarius Sun Opposite Mars and Square Neptune
December 8, 9, 10
Pisces Sun Square Mars and Conjunct Neptune
March 7, 8, 9
12) Saturn @ 20 Capricorn 31 Stations Retrograde on April 30th, 2019 at 12:55am GMT, April 29th, 2019 at 8:55pm EDT
Saturn will be making intense aspects to the birthdays below and the sense is very similar to how the other outer planets manifest when stationing retrograde. There is a “dragging” effect. It can feel worse than the direct transiting motion over the point or planet in question (in this case, the Sun, as shown below in the birthdays). The reason is that the energy is turned inward and is focused on the past and in issues relating to the past and past events. The questions and birthdays listed are essentially the same as number 2 above with the Sun/Saturn square. What have you decided to be? What are you going to do in this situation? The retrograde will only intensify the pattern of the square and you will need to give yourself a bit of space and time to process. This can be emotional but it is less so with the Sun as compared to the Moon. So, as the Sun is the present self that is conscious in this world and Saturn is getting to the bones of what is real and what will last beyond this lifetime, it is some fairly heavy duty energy to consider and to navigate. Again, take stock in what you have accomplished as I wrote above and let yourself get into the best possible place so that you can make the best possible decisions.
Saturn Station Retrograde Important Birthday’s:
Capricorn Sun Conjunct Saturn Retrograde
January 10,11, 12
Aries Sun Square Saturn Retrograde
April 9, 10, 11
Cancer Sun Opposite Saturn Retrograde
July 12, 13, 14

I would like to thank once more, Star, Stef and Bill with Star’s Heart of the Matter show and the rest of the crew at People for People Radio and Wolf Spirit Radio for the last six months. Being a regular guest astrologer was a true honor and a privilege. Unfortunately, the preparation for the show demanded much more time and effort than what I had to put into it. It was a tough decision that I had to make, to leave the show as a guest.
I wish you all continued success and all the best, now and in the future.
There’s more exciting SignsInLife news on the way so be sure to stay subscribed and in the know and pass this email along to your friends and family (and especially if you notice any important birthdays!!). Thanks again everyone.
Many Blessings to all and have a wonderful, happy, safe and productive April 2019!
