How do astrologers interpret charts? Why are there so many methodologies and approaches to astrology? What works and what doesn’t? These two classes will address many of the major issues that new and beginning astrologers face today. There are some simple approaches that do work, however, like anything else in life, one must firmly know the basics in order to see the results. We will briefly cover the planets, houses, signs and aspects and their definitions at the beginning of the first class. Then, we will go straight into natal chart interpretation later on September 21st. The following class on October 12th will be solely devoted to interpretation.

In essence, this is a crash course in interpretation and there will be something here even for the advanced astrologer. Please bring your laptop with professional astrology software loaded. This is not a requirement but rather a strong recommendation. Also, please brush up on all of the basics if you are able to. You can read the Crystal Source information on this site for recommendations on what to know–see the menu above. If you are not familiar with the astrology basics of planets, signs, houses and aspects, then you can still attend, however, there should be no expectation of starting to master chart interpretation without the knowledge of the aforementioned basics. New Astrology @ Crystal Source Foundational Series 2015–Starts Thursday July 23rd, 2015 [7pm]

Welcome to the New Astrology at Crystal Source Foundational Astrology Series! This 7 week beginners course is designed to get you off and running quickly, casting and interpreting astrology charts. We will start from the very beginning and gradually work our way into the finer points of interpretation and analysis which will lead us into learning about transits as a basic predictive tool.

Since this is a beginning class, we ask that each student study on their own in between classes. There are a handful of recommended reading materials which we will go over at the start of the first class.

The real art of astrology is much different than what the daily horoscopes have to offer. Learning about your potential and the potential of others through the lens of astrology is a crucial tool to have when the going gets rough–as it is during the great times when maximizing your good luck can be just as important!

This 7 week series will get you started in working with astrology as a real-world skill.

What we will be covering is the basics for next year (2015), essentially what to look out for as far as the major astrological trends are concerned. We may even throw the U.S. and/or TX chart in just for fun. The Eclipses of October including Mercury Retrograde: An Astrological Overview by Thaddeus Fenner

What are eclipses and how do they work? Can they impact our lives? What is Mercury Retrograde and is it really all that important? In this presentation we will answer the basic questions as well as explore the deeper meanings of the upcoming eclipses and Mercury retrograde cycle and discuss what they might mean for us. Important birthdays will be covered for the eclipses, Mercury retrograde as well as other key stellar alignments for the month. Please be sure to bring your birth time and location as we may have an opportunity to answer individual questions towards the end of the presentation. Cost is $5 at the door.

Bio: Thaddeus if a DFW based astrologer who works with several techniques and traditions within Western astrology as well as the Chinese Four Pillars of Destiny. He holds a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies (Columbia College) and is a NCGR-PAA Level II. Directions: Earth School is off the Loop 820/I-20 access road (Loop 820 & I-20 are the same in this area), near I-35W just to the east. Earth School is in the same building as Reliant Signs, on the right side of the building.

(1) Take the Campus Dr. Exit if you are coming from Dallas (Westbound). Continue straight through the Campus Dr signal light (the road curves) and stay on the access road. You will turn around under the I-20/820 bridge. Just past the new Tandy glass building is Earth School. It is immediately after the new Tandy building. (2) Take the Oak Grove Rd exit if you are coming from Ft. Worth (Eastbound). Go through the Oak Grove intersection and stay on the access road to the left and go towards the new Tandy glass building on the right. Earth School is immediately after the new Tandy building. Please look up the address on Google Maps before coming out, just search Earth School Enterprises. Parking is on the left as soon as you pull in the driveway.
